CRANKCASE PORT FITTING

The ultimate solution for an oil filter housing for your 06A 1.8T or 2.0. Fits all 06A engines from 1999 till present.

Key features include :

  • ¾-16” threaded nipple for any screw on oil filter (Most common being either 06A 1.8T or similar)
  • MOCAL 90°C Thermostat incorporated into the housing allowing the installer to not need an additional thermostatic sandwich plate. (an upgrade over 462-635-0021).
  • M12 x 1.5 port for turbocharger oil feed.
  • 12-AN ORB port for crankcase ventilation
  • iABED trap flow baffle integration system
  • (2) M10 x 1.0 ports for OEM oil senders
  • Compact lightweight design with material removal in non-critical areas to save on weight.

 

Build of Materials:

  • (1) CNC Machined Housing
  • (1) MOCAL Thermostat
  • (1) ¾-16” Threaded fitting
  • (2) AN-10 Male ORB to Union fitting
  • (1) M16 x 1.5
  • (1) CWM16 copper crush washer
  • (1) CWM12 copper crush washer
  • (1) Elring Gasket

 

Options:

  • Turbocharger oil feed = M12 x 1.5 to 3-AN Male union = +$7
  • Turbocharger oil feed = M12 x 1.5 to 4-AN Male union = +$7
  • Crankcase Port = AN-12 ORB to AN-10 Flare Union = +$9
  • Crankcase Port = AN-12 ORB to AN-12 Flare Union= +$9
  • M7 x 70mm hardware = +$12
  • Install oem 06A Piston + Spring = +$20

 

N.B.
This product requires purchasing an additional air cooled oil cooler (Setrab , Mocal , etc). It can be used in conjunction with the OEM heat exchanger if requested to switch the ¾-16” threaded fitting for an OEM unit.

This product requires the transfer of the OEM Piston + spring set up from the stock 06A 115 405 oil filter housing
