Syvecs standalone ECU comparison
Compare universal ECU options against the engine, fuel system, wiring and calibration plan. Channel types and required software or driver hardware matter more than a simple model-number hierarchy.
Syvecs ECU family overview
-
S7 Plus: 22 general-purpose analogue inputs, 6 ignition drivers and 8 half-bridge outputs.
-
S7D-4, S7D-6 and S7D-8: integrated DI injector outputs in four-, six- and eight-channel versions. Check ignition outputs separately; S7D-8 uses four ignition outputs and its manual specifies wasted-spark pairs for eight-cylinder engines.
-
S8C: the listed S8 specification has 24 general-purpose analogue inputs, 8 ignition drivers and 4 half-bridge outputs. It has a different I/O mix from S7 Plus, not more of every channel type.
-
S12: 28 general-purpose inputs, 12 ignition outputs and 24 fuel-injector outputs; assess the channel allocation and electrical limits against the build.
Direct injection, price and fitment
Syvecs lists optional DI software for S7 Plus, S8 and S12. A DI installation also needs compatible injector-driver hardware and application-specific support. Compare the complete ECU, harness, driver, sensor and calibration cost, not just the bare ECU price.
