The 2.0T FSI oil pump assembly with balance shaft delete service performed by iABED Industries is a unique product that allows users to retain their 2.0T FSI oiling system without the fear of having the balance shafts seize, causing catastrophic failure in the future.

This will work on all EA113 2.0T FSI engines, including the MK6 Golf R.

The Process:

  • Collection of good core.
  • Ultrasonic cleaning to remove oil residue and film.
  • CNC machine approximately 5 lbs of steel shafts and gears.
  • Open oil galleys.
  • Ultrasonic cleaning to remove any metal debris inside oil galleys and remainder of oil pump housing.
  • Press in T6061 CNC machined plugs where shafts once sat.
  • Assembled unit for OEM fitment.

Important Notice Regarding Cores & Handling Time:

  • Once your product is received, we work with you on a case-by-case basis to determine if your core is acceptable for return.
  • Cores must have the oil pump pickup tube and both drive gears removed before shipping.
  • We will not issue a core refund on oil pumps that have seized balance shafts or scored oil pump vanes.
  • This is not done on a case-by-case basis. We do not offer the modification on your existing core.
  • Please do not remove your oil pump from your vehicle and send it in as a core unless contacting us first.
