Standard VAG Alternator pulleys are 55mm diameter.

With a 139mm crankshaft diameter pulley @ 7500 rpm’s that spins the alternator to almost 19,000 rpm’s. Constant track racing eventually causes the alternator to fail due to over spinning.

• At 65mm diameter , the RPM of the alternator reduces to 16,000 rpm’s @ 7500 crank rpm’s otherwise mimicking how the alternator in original fashion would operate at 6200 rpm’s in OEM fashion.
• At 72mm diameter (or similar) the RPM of the alternator reduces to 14,480 rpm’s @ 7500 crank rpm’s otherwise mimicking how the alternator in original fashion would operate at 6200 rpm’s in OEM fashion.
