The Syvecs SyvTCM provides standalone transmission control for supported gearbox hardware. Select the gearbox version required for your installation.
Confirm compatibility before ordering: support depends on the complete gearbox and internal TCM identification, not just the donor vehicle or gearbox name. The limitations below apply to the individual versions.

Standalone Control for the ZF 8HP45 and 8HP70
The Syvecs SyvTCM provides complete standalone control of supported ZF 8HP45 and 8HP70 Gen1 rear-wheel-drive automatic transmissions.
Designed for engine conversions, restomods, motorsport vehicles and custom installations, the SyvTCM allows the highly capable ZF 8HP transmission to be installed into vehicles that were never originally equipped with it.
The system can operate alongside a Syvecs ECU, aftermarket ECU, OEM engine management system or an older engine installation with minimal electronics.
By combining flexible CAN communication, direct sensor inputs, internal torque modelling and advanced transmission strategies, the SyvTCM provides everything required to achieve fast, smooth and repeatable gear changes across a wide range of vehicle applications.
Supported ZF 8HP Transmissions
The current SyvTCM 8HP control package supports selected:
- ZF 8HP45 Gen1 RWD transmissions
- ZF 8HP70 Gen1 RWD transmissions
Only compatible Gen1 rear-wheel-drive mechatronic units with supported Bosch TCU hardware can be used.
The Bosch TCU identification number must be checked before purchasing a transmission, as compatibility cannot be confirmed from the gearbox casing or donor vehicle alone.

Important: Not every Gen1 ZF 8HP mechatronic unit is compatible. Later units using the larger 2048 KB memory configuration are not currently supported.

Standalone Control for Selected VAG DQ250 MQB Transmissions
The Syvecs SyvTCM provides complete standalone integration of selected Volkswagen Audi Group DQ250 MQB six-speed dual-clutch transmissions.
Designed for engine conversions, motorsport vehicles, restomods and custom installations, the SyvTCM allows the fast-shifting, wet-clutch DQ250 transmission to operate outside its original vehicle platform.
The system communicates directly with the original gearbox controller while reproducing the engine and vehicle information normally provided by the factory ABS, engine ECU, steering-column module and other OEM systems.
The SyvTCM can operate alongside a Syvecs ECU, aftermarket ECU, OEM engine management system or an older engine installation with minimal electronics.
Supported DQ250 Transmissions
The current SyvTCM DQ250 control package supports selected MQB transmissions fitted with the earlier CAN 2.0B-based internal gearbox controller.
These controllers are generally found in VAG vehicles produced between 2015 and 2022. Compatibility must always be confirmed using the complete gearbox and TCM part numbers, as the production year, donor vehicle or gearbox casing alone cannot confirm support.
Example supported DQ250 MQB TCM part numbers include:

- 02E 927 770 AS
Later DQ250 transmissions fitted to Volkswagen Golf Mk8-platform vehicles use a newer internal controller with CAN FD communication. These CAN FD versions are not currently supported by the SyvTCM.
Important: Not every DQ250 transmission is supported. The SyvTCM control package is designed for selected MQB DQ250 transmissions fitted with the earlier CAN 2.0B-based controller. Golf Mk8 DQ250 controllers using CAN FD are not currently supported. Always confirm compatibility using the complete gearbox and TCM part numbers before purchasing a transmission.

From 2023, Audi 8Y DQ500 applications changed to a newer internal gearbox controller using CAN FD communication. These CAN FD versions are not currently supported by the SyvTCM.

Audi 8Y DQ500 controllers using CAN FD, generally fitted from 2023 onwards, are not currently supported.
