VW 6A|9A|PL|KR|ABF 16 VALVE - (1.8T) Camshaft Position Sensor Kit

The iABED VW 16 valve camshaft position kit will allow the user the ability to run COP's without fancy adapters. Our all in one solution is a direct plug and play and will work on all 1987 – 1998 Volkswagen 16V cylinder heads . Mounted where the distributor once was allowing true camshaft position utilizing an OEM bosch camshaft position sensor.

The 4-Window trigger wheel is a 1:1 in reverse of the 06A AWP 1.8T OEM trigger wheel which will allow the end user to use a 1.8T 20V Harness & ECU on the 16V build (assuming a 60-2 trigger wheel is used on crankshaft) . Perfect for ABA 16V hybrid or ABF long block builds.

• (1) Machined T6061 hall sensor housing
• (1) Machined T6061 hall sensor housing cover "16V logo"
• (1) Camshaft position sensor w/seal
• (1) 38 x 3mm N70 O-ring
  
• (1) 60 x 3mm N70 O-ring
• (1) M6 x 12mm stainless steel socket cap screw
• (3) M6 x 16mm stainless steel socket cap screw
• (2) M6 x 20mm stainless steel socket cap screw
• (2) M6 x 35mm stainless steel socket cap screw
• (1) M6 stainless steel washer

Additional: Hall Sensor kit adds on:

• (1) NOTHING.

Special notes:
The first generation kit required the camshaft to be drilled and tapped .
The second generation kit required sourcing OEM parts but was Plug & Play.
The third generation (This kit) is PLUG and PLAY with no additional parts or drilling required.

Technical Notes:
Leading edge of the 1-window trigger wheel is 52° BTDC (104° on the crankshaft)
